There has been a internal advertisement for an Art Lead in our infant school. I really want to apply but I have no idea where to start with the A4 statement that they want, could really use some advice and guidance please!

Is there a current role at the school? If so speak to them about the position. If not - consider speaking to the other teachers and ask them how they are handing teaching Art within the school. Are they confident in administering the subject or would they benefit from a skilled person? I would also include why you want to take on the role and what you can bring to the table. How you are able to support and nurture staff and students, what you want to incorporate or develop and why?
    Hope this helps.
