Roobarb - the eternal optimist playing teh holy fool
Custard - sitting on life's fence, watching the world go by and jeering

I'm a Roobarb. Authentic and sincere to the core, me. There are far too many sinister, back-biting Custards around.

    Definitely a Roobarb!

  8. not really

  9. Oh god, yes, a Custard.
Horrible, cynical, pessimistic... although I occasionally suppress all that and pretend to be a Roobarb so people don't get put off. Hey, we all need friends. Even if they're acquired using false pretences.

Ah but what is a Roobarb without a bit of Custard?! I'm deffo a mix - much more Roobarb- most of the time - but my inner Custard spills out all over the place occasionally - not a pretty sight - but oh so good and sweet!!

Jamie Oliver stuffs his ducks with rhubarb, but I'm not aware that he serves them with custard. Maybe he ought to. Why not have yor dinner and afters on the same plate and save on washing up?
