It has been reported that 50% of all secondary schools are now academies or just about to become academies.
Gove will have the majority of secondary schools after just one more.
    Should we be concerned?

as to OP: our P+C have been getting steadily worse for the last 15 years - the last labour governemnt was a disaster too, the only benefit we gained was PPA, badly framed, loosely termed, ignored or bent out of shape by many and only 'given' as a sop because of our appalling workload and total lack of pay award to keep any kind of pace with inflation.
  3. T&Cs and pay are better in academies.
    Mr Gove says so.
