AQA: Power and Conflict introduction

Discussion in 'English' started by Schildkr0te, Sep 12, 2015.

  1. Hi, I'm a new teacher teaching a group of Year 10s (middle-ability) for one lesson each fortnight. Since I share the class, it's been decided it will be easier organisationally for me to teach poetry during these classes, rather than the current theme. After half-term single-study poetry will become the main focus so my intention is to build the groundwork for this in my classes. I'd really like to know what you all think. I only see them three times before half-term so I need to make the time count. What would you all do if you had three classes to introduce a class to single-study poetry?

    Thank you.
