AQA GCSE Drama - written paper

Discussion in 'Drama and performing arts' started by Foxyloxyskyfallingdown, Jun 16, 2012.

  1. There are really two parts to your question: 'how to teach the written paper in an interesting way', and 'how to teach the paper so that the students actually understand how to answer the questions'. The second part of the question can't really be answered by a post on a forum, and I think you would do well to book yourself on one of the courses that AQA (and some other organisations) run on how to tackle the written paper. As for teaching the paper in an interesting way, the course will probably furnish you with ideas to do this, but I try to do it in a way that combines practical work with written work so that they learn to talk and then write about exactly what they're doing on stage.
