Can anyone just confirm - I'm sure I remember Sue Ellis saying that scripted work could be the work of the pupils as long as it was written before they began rehearsal? I'm questioning myself as I didn't write it down and the spec just says published or unpublished work so I'm thinking it's ok?
    Thanks.

  2. Yes, she did say this. I remember the question being asked and she was very clear on this point. I have a student taking GCSE next year who's a very keen playwright, and I intend to make full use of this opportunity. Obviously it would be up to you to ensure that the script was of sufficient quality to allow the full range of the marking criteria for both Parts 1 and 2 to apply.
