AQA GCSE B Unit 2 - query over wording

Just got a quick query over the wording in Unit 2. We are doing the Young People unit and in past papers they have used the phrase 'faith groups'.
'Describe some of the ways that faith groups can encourage young people to join'
I'm not totally sure from the mark schemes what they mean by this. Is 'faith group' in the context of the unit referring to a group within a religion such as a church youth group? Or is it referring to a religion itself? Or anything else? It seems very vague.

    Hi.
This is the beauty of AQA. It does seem vague but they can pretty much talk about a group within a religion such as a church youth group or you can refer to a religion itself and how its members provide activities for young people.

Thanks. It is odd because they don't use that phrase in any of the other units.
