AQA GCSE assessment

Discussion in 'Art and design' started by choe, Jan 16, 2011.

  1. Try to get onto AQA training or moderation courses - it will make it very clear. 45 hours is just guidance. You are required to show at least one 'long' project which covers all assessment objectives - beyond that be selective, you do not need to show everything, just try and make sure it is a good representation of the students capabilities and that it has a broad coverage of the AO's.
I have experience of both AQA and OCR and have found the courses and support preferable with AQA at GCSE and A level. Hope this helps - you should have a coursework advisor you can ring for advice if you cannot get to the training .
