Hi all, Are there any other English teachers on here, who are concerned about their students accessing the new 9-1 GCSE? My students who have targets for C grades received Fs in their mocks in year 10. They are a class I've inherited at my new school. Just wondering if anyone had some inspiration for helping low ability students access the exam? In particular Literature, there's so much content to cover! We are covering Frankenstein, AIC, R&J and obviously poetry. I've considered intervention strategies and am implementing them, independent learning passports where they receive prizes for their extra work outside of lessons. Is anyone doing anything different/inspirational they could suggest to me?! Thanks!
