AQA controlled assessment help with incomplete folders

Discussion in 'English' started by lemara1982, Apr 29, 2012.

  1. Dear all,
I am just in the middle of adding up the controlled assessment marks for the year group and have found myself with the four incomplete folders I was anticipating as the students no longer attend.
With the legacy spec there was a formula we used when students had one or two pieces missing. Does the same apply this year? If so, does anyone know what it is? Or do I just add up what marks they do have?
One student has only completed the two writing tasks but no spoken language or extended reading.
One has everything except the extended reading.
The other student has the extended reading and one writing task but not the other or the spoken language.
The final student has only completed one speaking and listening task.

Just add up the marks they do have. There is no penalty formula.
