April Fool's ideas anyone?

    I made my Y10 top set believe that SMT, in light of good Controlled Assessment results, had decided to put 30% of the year group through exams this year rather than next. "All" they needed to do was to prepare two more controlled assessments (one speaking one writing) over the Easter holidays and learn all 20 pages of core vocabulary in the next six weeks.
    Took them a good 5-10 minutes for the penny to drop!
