appropriate films on Ancient Egypt

    I teach young people out of mainstream. I am trying to find an appropriate but also engaging film on Ancient Egypt for young people aged 11-16 working at Entry Level - Level 2.. Please can anyone suggest something

  2. I suppose it depends what type of film...

    I've used quite a lot of clips from the 'What the ancients did for us' series, and I've also used some extracts from horrible histories.

    The only film I've used in its entirety is the Howard Carter episode on this DVD:


    It's a really good dramatised version of his discovery. Worth a look!
