Appointment of a headteacher

Discussion in 'Governors' started by blackdog99, Mar 15, 2011.

  1. You certainly should not be involved in the shortlisting process.
If your friend is not shortlisted you could go back on the panel. However, replacing you with another governor for the whole process would be much neater.
  2. Thanks for info. I was hoping to be involved in parts but as it happens someone from the LA was drafted in. This offered confidence to school improvement remaining a key drive. So all worked out for the best.
