I'm applying for student finance and they have asked for the following
    end your evidence
    Send the following -
    • Original marriage certificate
    • Original Home Office Documentation confirming the names and dates of birth of your children
    • All pages of your most recent Tax Credit Award Notice showing all of your children (photocopy)
    • Evidence cover letter
Now I take it you get it back. I want to know if other students have got there documents returned ok and how long it took to return.

Student Finance are incompetent - I wouldn't trust them with originals!

Phone them and ask to clarify. Can you send certified copies instead? Although that would cost you...

That's what I thought. What do they do with the photocopies did they send them back?

They should accept photocopied documents certified by the university. The university should also be able to support with dealing with student finance as well.
