Hello, I am completing my first application form for teaching, although I have had a long and varied career in other fields. I am confused as to what the school is after as They have split the application into two. The first being general knowledge, such as education, qualifications, interests, etc. The second being a person specification form asking for a) skills and abilities, b) Experience, and c) Knowledge. This would seem to be straight forward, but they have included a job description that is general for teaching, not ICT (my subject). My question is, do I gear the person specification to this general job description, or tailor it to my skills and experience. I fear that if I address the person specification I am wasting time and energy on qualities that all teachers should possess anyway.
