As always...posts come together...both posts so appealing but 1 is m9re than other...they are both different posts. I am worried to apply for both as my HT might be questioning my desperation? At the same time I feel sad not trying for both...would this be a strategy to apply for 1 and if not showrtlisten in 1 week to write a letter of interest to another post...in case it is till before interviews?

If the deadlines are on the same day, by the time you learn that you have not been shortlisted for one, it will be too late for the other.

And many schools don't even tell you that you are not shortlisted, so . . .

I don't really think that your HT's views are important here.

Decide if you wish to apply for one, two or neither, and do that.

And once you have decided, come to Jobseekers and ask for the applications advice.

    Best wishes
