Hi there, I wondered if I could ask for some pointers. After eight (mostly!) happy years in state schools, I have applied for a Head of Department post at an independent school. This is out of my local area as I am planning to relocate due to family reasons. I was contacted and it was arranged for the Headteacher of the school to ring me early next week - I'm not sure what the purpose of this is. Is it likely to give information about the school and post, or to get further info from me? Thank you!
