Application advice

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by bizstudiessteacher28, Jan 25, 2011.

  1. Hi everyone!

I have a 1 year fixed contract (I'm a NQT) I'm filling in applications for new schools (nearer to home - I currently have a 1 hr commute) - Is it appropiate to put on your application form that it was only a year contract?
I am concerned as I don't want to seem like I'm jumping ship because I want to ( I have to!)
    Thank you!

    Yes,absolutely!
You are quite right to present this situation positively.
Do make sure that you produce the Best Possible Application - the advice in the shortlisting clickables inside the Welcome thread should help you there..
    Best of luck.
