Anyone remember Peak Maths?

    Anyone here remember Peak Maths?
Would you use it with your current pupils?
Interested as for one I am looking at back to basics, traditional style maths. Peak Maths was circa 1981. Initial trials with junior school children have been great - they love the straight forward approach, even if it means digging out the Base 10.

Don't remember it I'm afraid. I think things have since gone downhill.

I remember it and still use it! It is not our main textbook but there are some fabulous pages in it. I like Peak 5 with year 4. The pages on measure problems are so much more challenging than anything you find in modern textbooks. Fractions are good. Number work and word problems worth a look. Not a great deal on shape or handling data. But then what textbook includes everything? I'd rather dip into that than make up my own stuff all the time.
