As the title says i remember a 'ditty' that started "here are red apples for you and me.....we eat them to make us grow strong" as we have to be red and preferably apples in our school harvest assembly so thought it would be great as our part - OR if you can think of a great alternative you would save me hours of searching as i cant find it anywhere and some of teh other poems i ahve found are a bit twee....

    thank kaz xxx

I remember this from years ago - if no-one else replies I can try and find it tomorrow.
  3. See here are red apples for you and me

we eat them to make us grow strong

so now we are glad, and say thank-you to God

And sing him our Harvest song

See loaves big and crusty ...

    See oranges golden ............

and you could more or less make anything else you wanted

eg See blackberries juicy, See milk fresh and creamy,

    Hope this helps!

  4. I want to use this song but what's the tune? Is it an existing tune or a new one? Looked on youtube but can't find it!! can anyone help me?

My catholic friedn used to sing it when I was a girl. Perhaps it's in one of their hymnbooks. I hated it!
