Anyone know the name of random childhood book?

  1. Thank you! I just googled this, and it's very possible. I still remember the illustrations of the six huge white horses and the gooseberry people! There are some for sale on e-bay. I'll keep checking and see if I can find a front cover that I recognize. Thanks again! [IMG]

  2. Oooh, I remember these! In my infant school you started on something that wasn't Janet and John but was something similar: Peter, Jane, Nip the Dog and Fluff the cat. When you'd finished those you were on Wide Range, then library books. When I started they put me straight onto Wide Range as I'd learned to read at home before starting, so I missed out on Nip and Fluff! Does anyone know what their proper name was? I have a feeling they were Ladybird books.

  4. The six white horses and the gold sound familiar...

  5. And I'm wondering if it's in a book of Celtic fairy tales.

  6. That's it! Thank you, you're absolutely right.
