Anyone know any christmas songs but with Nursery rhyme tune?

  5. have just bought a good xmas play book for nursery rec and yr1 - songs to nursery rhyme tunre - all resources and costume in it - Nursery Rhyme Nativities - Brian Ogden - Thoroughly recommend it

    I'm not denigrating anyone here but I can't help wondering why nursery children are seen as incapable of learning new tunes. Ours take part in the infant nativity and have one song [the simplest] to learn specially.

    We do a Nursery/Reception nativity. The nursery children join in all the songs and manage the new tunes easily.

    Ours too.
    I'd go as far as to suggest that by giving different words to nursery rhymes you're somehow taking away from them. I hate hearing our three-year-olds singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to different words. Let them be with the real words first.
