I was shocked to notice that I've been paid £156 less this month. Is this because of the higher tax and increased NI ? Can't check my pay-slip until next week.
I didn't notice last month as I'd earned a bit extra doing 1:1 tuition.
I've checked and this is the lowest pay packet I've had in over 2 years!
Just had to shell out £150 at the dentist too.............not happy bunny!
Seems to me we are having to work harder for less..less..less!

  3. You're not a Scottish supply teacher are you? They've just had a 47% pay cut...

  4. I sincerely hope that it is not the case. This is the first month that my wife will not be getting a pay cheque as she is into the last two months of her maternity leave. And with two lots of car tax to pay, this month could be horrible.
Will be scrutinising the payslip first thing on Monday.

  5. What?!!!!!! 47%!!!! Poor people.

  6. £96 here
