Any ideas for tackling the new GCSE assessments?

Discussion in 'Science' started by hadron, Jun 5, 2011.

  1. Get them practising in Y8, Y9 & Y10 .
A bit of a facile response I'm afraid, but without a more detailed look at the requirements & having learned from historical mistakes, this will be at least part of our approach.

Agree. I was thinking that cramming for the exam might not be the answer this time!

No idea what information you've been given etc. but I too would be preparing them by getting my y7/8/9s doing more planning [IMG] I'd also get them used to the language required by the coursework, make sure you use it when demonstrating a practical (for example).
