  1. Hi all. I'm currently a Head of Science, but have an interview at a school for same position, just a bigger dept. I have got to teach a 25 min lesson on "Science and the Family" and although an experienced teacher I have no idea whatsoever what they are looking for. Also they not even said what year I am to teach.

Hello - Have you looked at ASE upd8? I just searched for 'family' and it came up with the activities on the link. There's one on ethics that might be universally suitable to adapt for any year.
A HSW type activity could be cross-curricular and could be a topic that they have not covered before. Best of luck!

  3. Many Thanks
