October half term...
Selfishly, as a supply, some work! I do miss children and the classroom.
I'm with lardylegs on this one!
I think you might be me in disguise! All of those things.
And being a year 2 teacher!!!! Sooooo exciting!
summer hols 2012!!!
Escaping from year 6 to teach Year 2.
Extra 15 minutes lunch each day due to being in KS1
heyyyyy ! That isn't fair. I'm doing the same move and only get an earlier lunch, not extra!
I am hoping it's somebody's birthday and they'll bring chocolates in too...
I am looking forward to my new class. Impossible targets, EBDs, SENs, mad parents et al. Bring it on - I've had a good break and am ready for it.
(See how long this lasts...)

No writing SATs???
Really? I hope so!
I am looking forward to a completely different year group, a lovely, big classroom with lots of display boards (yes, more work but they make the classroom a lot nicer when they're finished) and getting to know a totally different set of children.
Well said lardylegs....roll on half term and then Christmas hols!
Seriously though isn't it sad that only a couple of posters are looking forward to anything to do with actually teaching or children!
I'm looking forward to not being an NQT anymore!
And I'm looking forward to being an NQT!
Year 3/4, can't wait.
We don't have an afternoon break though - do you get that instead?
