Anita and Me resources for low ability group and Othello

Discussion in 'English' started by lizdeane1, Mar 22, 2012.

  1. I am teaching a group of low ability boys, and having changed to WJEC the novels aren't brilliant. OMAM is the safest, but I have to admit I find it a little boring and so would like to do Anita and Me. Trouble is I am struggling to find any resources to help me.

I am also after resources for Othello as I want to do something other than Romeo and Juliet. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

I would shy away from 'Othello' for a low ability group. I'm doing 'Richard III' and my focus is on Richard's appearance and his 'relationship' with Anne. It's working well. Also WJEC.
  3. Thanks. Can you recommend resources for Richard III please? Also they study it at KS3, so need to make it more interesting and be able to link with poetry!
