No chance to be bored, believe me! No not up to anything. This is about the limit.
You can always pop in on the Well, well, well thread for a chat anytime you want some company.
Oh what a shock. I'm lost for words. Take care - that seems silly to say - Great big, sterile cyber-hugs to you.
Here's the best ones I can find which might make you laugh.
Sorry I'll miss you.
Presumably no bone marrow transplant till Christmas because they need to find a match and do all the necessary tests.
My son donated a few years back. apparently his 'donation' was really rich in the stem cells, 3 x what others produced, presumably because of all the sport he did? So let's hope your donor is equally rich.
Have just seen this and will join with everyone in feeling shocked, but hoping things go well and improve as quickly as they can @GLsghost.
I think it all has to play out in its own time. BM transplant is about 6 months away .
Very best wishes to you @GLsghost. Your posts are my go-to read here. I hope the NHS does you proud.
Thank you. They certainly are. They go above and beyond at every step.
So sorry to read this @GLsghost. It must have come as such a shock. Sending all my best wishes xxx
@GLsghost - just to wish you lots of luck with your treatment.
I hope poppies and Lara's husband are also coping with their treatment and feel much better soon.
Just seen this, Sending you my very best wishes GL.
I don't have sufficient words ... stay strong... fingers crossed for you...
Same for you... best wishes and thoughts with you.
Just seen this and like others, am so shocked. @GLsghost
Can only send my thoughts and best wishes too that everything will go well
God (or who/whatever) bless
Love to you , poppies and mr Lara too.
Oh blimey O' Riley. I have been taking a break from H&WB recently, and have only just scanned through this thread. I am so sorry to hear about Poppies and GLsGhost. You poor bairns, you've been dealt such a carp hand. Workplace abuse injures people, I firmly believe it. So sorry.
Much love from Rosie xxxxx
GL, do I have your permission to tell our "friend in the north?"
So sorry, GL. What a sudden shock. At least they are dealing with it quickly. Best wishes.
I'll record LoD for you, GLsG.
What a shock. I suppose you were expecting anaemia or a virus. No-one expects to get a diagnosis like that in a 4-day timeframe. Hope it all goes well and the treatment is successful.
Hope yo're doing well (as can be expected!) ILP.
What a great shock for you and your family, GL! I'm so very sorry to hear this and hope your treatment isn't too awful. Sending you my very best wishes.
Hope all goes well for you, too, ILP.
