    Sorry I'll miss you.

Presumably no bone marrow transplant till Christmas because they need to find a match and do all the necessary tests.

My son donated a few years back. apparently his 'donation' was really rich in the stem cells, 3 x what others produced, presumably because of all the sport he did? So let's hope your donor is equally rich.

I think it all has to play out in its own time. BM transplant is about 6 months away .

@GLsghost - just to wish you lots of luck with your treatment.

I hope poppies and Lara's husband are also coping with their treatment and feel much better soon.

Oh blimey O' Riley. I have been taking a break from H&WB recently, and have only just scanned through this thread. I am so sorry to hear about Poppies and GLsGhost. You poor bairns, you've been dealt such a carp hand. Workplace abuse injures people, I firmly believe it. So sorry.

GL, do I have your permission to tell our "friend in the north?"

I'll record LoD for you, GLsG.
What a shock. I suppose you were expecting anaemia or a virus. No-one expects to get a diagnosis like that in a 4-day timeframe. Hope it all goes well and the treatment is successful.

Hope yo're doing well (as can be expected!) ILP.

What a great shock for you and your family, GL! I'm so very sorry to hear this and hope your treatment isn't too awful. Sending you my very best wishes.

Hope all goes well for you, too, ILP.
