An hour after school?

Discussion in 'Pay and conditions' started by Tynybanwen, Jan 14, 2012.

  1. Which is corect, please?
NUT rep at my school says that we should attend for only one hour after school for one meeting a week (not including parents' evenings).
    NASUWT rep is non-committal.
HoD says this is only a union recommendation and should be ignored.
    Thank you.

  3. They can, I think, pretty much ask you to attend whatever they like, as long as their requirements don't take you over your 1265 hours of directed time per year.

  4. NUT rep is quoting that unions point of view. It has no force. milliebear1 is correct in what she(?) says.

I echo Tom Clancy's comment. This is correct.
