my agency rang to ask me if i was interested in a post, i said yes, cv forwarded.
I have been on supply for a while but......
    via my agency.....
A local school asked me to teach for a day on full supply rate, then chat at end of day as to whether we wanted each other. re a full tiem term's work
    Today, agency rang back.
Following the school talking to other schools/staff that I have worked with over many years...
They have offered me a full time permanent contract without meeting me!
The school is local, i know the reputation which is fairly tough pupils, very supportive SMT and staff
All that quiet decent teaching has actually paid off
i am still going to go and teach as arranged, but a result I think!
did not think us "just teachers" were wanted any more
fingers crossed it all goes through!!!!!!!
but it makes me (and my experience) feel wanted which is nice!
keep teaching like you know how, sometimes it pays off!

Well done you but it's not really official until you get your star from Theo.
I'm really pleased for you, I hope they follow up all the paper work soon so you can chill knowing September 2012 and onwards is sorted!
