I'm a year 2 teacher and we are just starting a topic on aliens. I'm going to use the book aliens love underpants and I am tying to plan my numeracy.
Has anyone used this book for numercay and does anyone have any cool ideas? I'm hoping to have a shape, space and measure focus
  2. Could you create alien footprints in the playground and think about which would be the best way to measure them up for some shoes, as it might be uncomfortable on earth with no shoes? Standard and non-standard measures covered :)
I've never read the book, so this is just an alien type theme more than anything.

Directions through a maze to the underpants? Compare size of pants?
