    Good evening all!

I am currently a trainee and would feedback or ideas for differentiation for year 11 grammar school girls who are competitive in English thus having visible LA to HA abilities would not work.
Would anyone have any great ideas that work as well as work in lesson observations very well? This would be for Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet'

    Many thanks!

Get them to write their own exam questions, make graphic organisers for the text (addressing all the AOs), put them in groups and each prepares and teaches an act to the others, do a debate using quotes from the text (I did that at a grammar school - worked really well - got an 'outstanding' in that lesson obs)...

Anything open-ended is automatically differentiated as they will achieve to the best of their ability.
Bluesky has mentioned some activities, and have a look at Harvard's Visible Thinking routines as well as collaborative tasks related to your content.
