    Hello all,

Thinking of laying meadow turf on the school grounds to create a meadow area as a memorial for a former lunch time organiser. PTA are happy to pay for the turf, would a (local authority approved) external company need to install it or can parents help?

Secondly, we would like to install wooden log seats in the grounds as an outdoor classroom. Would this need to be contracted out?
As an acting head I'm unsure about the rules about what can be done with kindness and what needs to be approved!
    Thanks in advance!

As far as I know parents can help with the turf. If you're in an LA, call them and check but if you're in an academy, call head office directly for info.
It's scary being an acting head, but just ask if you're not sure as no one will mind.
