hi, for my interview on Wednesday I have to plan a full numeracy lesson, but only teach the first 20 minutes. In the invitation to interview it says 'We would like to see how you would deliver the mental maths section and then move onto the teaching of the main objective of that lesson.' I've pretty much planned my lesson now, but am suddenly panicking. My starter is related to the main objective and not very whizzy/interactive, but fun. Should I include a more lively starter activity, unrelated to the main objective? What do you think they expect to see? Sorry if my question sounds stupid, I'm getting into a state about this interview.
