Advice please....

    Hello, this is nothing to do with teaching but I would welcome your advice. My son has an interview for a lighting technician job at a night club in London. What should he wear? Full suit and tie? Smart jacket and tasteful T shirt? Hoody and jeans? Thank you.

    Dark jeans, shoes not trainers and a smart shirt would be my suggestion.

    Its enough to be formal but he won't look like an accountant.

    I'm a bit old fashioned. Always got mine to wear smart - suit and tie if he has one. I think, for interviews, always better to be over dressed than underdressed.

    Anyway, not all accountants are dullards. Blame their PR.
