Hi. I have completed my PGCE secondary. I failed 1 piece of coursework that I had to do over the summer. I submitted it. However I will not get the provisional results until 2nd September, this is the first day of school. I am worried that I will be unable to start teaching until my result is confirmed on the 15th September by the board. Can anyone help me with this? My HOD knows the situation but has not yet got back to me.thanks

Generally it depends upon what the school does with teachers yet to gain QTS . The regulations mean that they can not start an induction formally with you until QTS is confirmed you may find they are flexible if it is only a matter of a few days and the confirmation comes through OK.
