Advice on hours worked per day/week please.

Discussion in 'Pay and conditions' started by La Mariposa, Mar 26, 2011.

  1. Thanks for the replies. It's still not clear to me how many hours I should say I work on my form. Of course I know that what a teacher works in reality isn't the same as directed time but do the Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs recognise this difference?! Obviously I don't want to state I work 60 hours a week when I'm only 'directed' to work 32??!! And does it REALLY matter anyway or am I being too literal?
    becktonboy I don't follow?
  2. Haha, yes, so did I!!
  3. Ah them Royalists, I see :) Thanks so much for all these replies, it's been more than helpful.
  4. If you look at your payslip it states 25 hours a week. I know that does not reflect what hours you do, but is what is stated on pay.
  5. Well it doesn't on mine. It says 32.5 hours per week.
