Hi everyone, this is a long shot but …..

I am currently writing a maths programme for Egyptian British schools who follow the English EYFS curriculum. I have to write a week's programme on using coins. It can be very simple, but just wondering what local coins or currency tend to be introduced at this age to Egyptian children?

    Thanks in advance :)

  2. Hello,

Egyptian currency is the Egyptian Pound (LE) and instead of pence it is piastres. The Egyptian pound has higher denominations (200LE notes for example) than GBP.
