Advice needed! Application for KS3 Coordinator (head of years 7-9) Internal Vacancy

    You should definitely write as if you were applying to another school, addressing each point on the spec and giving examples from your own experience and skills - the difference, of course, is that because they know you it's more difficult to big yourself up!
    Write it as if it IS a different school, then set it aside for a while. Then read it through to assure yourself that the head won't pull a face at anything you've claimed.
    Good luck with it - remember, as they know you it's even more important to remind them what you've done and how well you've done it, because it's easy for heads to take what good staff do for granted.
