Advice needed about English or History degree paired with Creative Writing

    Hi everybody!

I am in my first year of my English Literature and Creative Writing degree and History was my elective. It turns out I seem to have achieved a higher mark in my History than my English. I love both subjects but in English, I know what I want to say but it doesn't seem to transfer well to paper. My dilemma is whether I should stay with English or change to History for my final two years of Uni. I feel I may come out with a better result in History than I would in English. I would also really like to know whether a History and Creative Writing degree is as well thought of as an English and Creative Writing degree for when I decide on a career (I'm thinking of primary school teaching).

    Many Thanks
