Advice appreciated

Discussion in 'Health and wellbeing' started by lachicarosa, Aug 31, 2011.

  1. I have been teaching for 3 years and have loved it. I have not secured permanent work but have been kept busy on supply. At the moment, I need more security than supply can offer me so looking for advice on how easy is it to take a career break and then return to teaching?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  2. A lot easier than it is for many careers. And it's a reasonable enough explanation to offer when you do finally start applying again.
I've picked it up and put it down quite a few times but things may have changed in the meantime.
  3. At the moment my reasons are partially health and partially lack of security from supply, I don't know what to do :(
