Hi Does anyone have any examples of action research they might have done in education in particular phonics so I know I am going along the right track I think I am over complicating mine my email address is traceybraisby@gmail.com

    3) What is your initial research idea, question or hypothesis?

Here you should articulate an initial question or hypothesis for your study.

Initially: The connection between a child’s phonemic awareness and their letter-sound knowledge, with the contribution of phonics strategies towards this letter-sound acquisition. I shall also look at the importance of blending and segmenting to a child’s successful reading development.

Secondary : Will the extension of the Jolly Phonics scheme from year one to year twoimprove the reading and spelling skills of early readers?

    Thanks in advance all
