About to fail, need help

Discussion in 'Trainee and student teachers' started by James_Williams, Jun 6, 2011.

  1. Hi
A fail should not be imposed at the last minute with no prior warning and no chance of rectifying the situation.
Yes, marking books is day to day work for teachers and should have been a routine thing, but if that is the only major problem then it is harsh to cite that as the reason for a fail. You need to talk to your tutor and ask if the proper procedures have been foillowed - if not then you need them to intervene on your behalf. What needs to happen is a meeting between the tutor, school and yourself to look holistically at the standards and where you stand.
