This short film was described by Adam Rutherford as "a love letter to the space shuttle". In the film tent at Latitude grown men were seen to be rubbing their faces quite hard and I just had a little weep.

  2. Thanks for posting this. An awe-inspiring tribute.
One of the Apollo astronauts, John Young, Commander Apollo 16, flew STS-1 and STS-9.
I heard on the radio today that with the end of the programme 4000 people would be losing their jobs. So a poignant event at many levels.

  3. I didn't realise Dara O'Briain was a Shuttle Astronaut.

I thought NASA stood for "Need Another Seven Astronauts"?
