A to Z mini-guide to women's health

Discussion in 'Welcome lounge and forum help' started by kazzystone, Oct 17, 2017.

  1. Hello all. I'd like to introduce this book to teachers who could use it as an educational tool for teenage girls and sixth formers. It covers basic anatomy, hormonal changes and the importance of healthy diet and exercise. I have gone into mental well being too, with chapters on subjects such as body image, goal setting and relationships. I want to educate young women about the myths about 'fat' in food and how detrimental sweeteners, soda and sugar are. There's a chapter with motivational, inspiring readings from different sources and one with recipes. The chapters are in A to Z format but they're not too long as I would like them to research and become inspired so they take responsibility for their own health. How do I go about this on Tes? Thanks, Karen Stone.
