    Hi All

I am about to teach a play to my Y8 students, they are mixed/ low ability. My HOD said that I could potentially order in a set of new plays. Does anyone have any ideas of a good new play for my class?

    Thanks

How about Our Day Out? Always a favourite. :)

I like Pulman's version of Frankenstein - good intro as it's now a GCSE text, too.

How about some mythology? Many choices of different themes and topics here, plus no dog-eared copies as they're photocopiable.

    Thanks All.
Our Day Out has been nabbed by another teacher, dated by a good one. We already have a module for the classic play of which Frankenstein is part and we do Myths and Legends as another module. Great minds...! Was thinking of trying Mark Wheelers 'Arson About.' Has anyone read this?

I don't like it, but I've just finished War Horse with my bottom set Yr 8
