I seem to remember someone posted a link to a table comparing GCSE grade at entry to the A level course to eventual A level grade but can't find it now.

Can someone point me to it, please? (Assuming I'm remembering correctly!)

  2. Although there is a positive association between GCSE and AS grades, you can't do an accurate prediction as there is not a strong correlation. A student with an A in Maths GCSE might get anywhere between a D and a B (or an A or an E!). It really depends how much practice they put in.

That wasn't the one I was thinking of - it's better than the one I was thinking of!

    Thanks!
