I am so frustrated there is nothing else for students who wish to go on to an A level in food. What is everyone else doing? I know the WJEC do a Food Science qualification but I'm stumped after that.

Any ideas would be really welcomed,

    thanks

WJEC Level 3 Food Science and Nutrition? Supposedly available to teach from September 2017, haven't checked though.
I believe there is a CCEA Food A Level for Ireland, you would have to contact them to see how viable this examination would be to teach in England.
Unfortunately after the last curriculum changes, many schools are only providing certain A Levels - 'vocational' options are also not encouraged/ 'out'. The thinking I believe was that Food could be followed at colleges.
There were petitions around at the time but didn't acquire enough signatures.

Sorry, that's all I know. I'd like to know what your research turns up.
