    Hi everyone.

I'm currently on my first run-through of the OCR course, having picked up the class at the end of y12 and focusing on their NEA. The requirements are one prose, one drama and one poetry text, all post 1900 with one post 2000.

    This year I picked:
    • Jerusalem by Jez Butterworth
    • White Teeth by Zadie Smith
    • Book of Matches by Simon Armitage
and our focus has been on 'Modern British Society'.

I am now thinking about next year and would like to give students more options in terms of texts to study (they don't all have to be the same) and was thinking of moving the focus onto either feminism or dystopian texts.

I'd love to hear some ideas of texts that people would consider, particularly dystopian poetry and drama.
