A letter that doesn't get sent

One of my colleagues who has an obnoxious client to deal with, one incidentally who has spent the last ten years attempting to have her sacked, explained that when this client winds her up something chronic, her solution is to write him a letter detailing everything she thinks about him, using whatever language she feels appropriate for the occasion, put it in an envelope addressed to him, then eventually shred it.

She says the feeling of relief she gets in getting it off her chest by detailing her anger on paper is well worth having.

Have any of you tried this technique?

.Anyhow, I've only just acquired a new printer after two years, so the sky is the limit now. So what is his name, "Corbyn" ?
